Connect an Instagram account or a Facebook Page

Each workspace answers one account: a professional Instagram account or a Facebook Page.

Each Dotechat workspace answers one account: it receives that account's messages and comments and replies from it.

What you need

• A professional Instagram account (business or creator), or a Facebook Page you manage.
• To sign in to Meta with the profile that manages that account or Page.

Connect it

• Open Settings → Channels.
• Press "Connect Instagram" or "Connect a Facebook Page".
• Approve the permissions in Meta's window. Nothing is connected before you approve, and nothing is created if you cancel.

Another account

To add another account use "Add account" in the workspaces menu: connecting an account creates a new workspace named after it, and your other workspaces stay as they are.

If the connection expires

When the connection expires a red strip shows at the top of every page. Open the Channel page and reconnect; your automations work again.
